Food heals. What you put in your body has a powerful effect on your well being and your overall health. You would not put garbage in your car as it may destroy the engine. Why harm your own body?
The body is like an orchestra, with the right ingredients and communication; it could be serene, happy and healthy. What you digest has a direct effect on the entire body. The Proper food could mean the difference between living a stress free healthy life and enduring an illness.
Carrots, yellow and orange squash, spinach and kale can give you vitamin A. Oranges and broccoli are among those foods that give you the benefit of vitamin C. Other vegetables and fruit can add several other necessary vitamins your body may need.
These vitamins can help strengthen the immune system, assisting you to fight off incoming germs. Minerals such as Zinc which can be obtained by having a cup of lentils or a crab leg, probably one of the most important minerals for keeping your immunity system strong, will help you avoid or fight infection.

Having been a sugar addict who indulged in a great many fat and sugary treats like ice-cream, cake and candy I suffered my first heart attack at the age of forty one.
The wrong food, fats, and starches high in empty calories can kill you, while the right food feeding the entire system can save your life.
One doctor commented he knew someone that lived ten years after an experience such as mine. I began to eat right to change that possibility. That was fifteen years ago.
The correct foods for your body will be like another musical instrument adding to the completed symphony. The proper food combination may not be the same as it is for your neighbor or even your son. Someone in your immediate family may have a need to have meat and vegetables, but little fruit. However, the proper food for you may be more fruit and no meat at all, for your neighbor it could be almost all fruit and vegetables
Some say cancer has been healed by changing their diet to proper foods such as broccoli, Sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Kale, Turnip, Radishes, Legumes, Algae, Figs, Grapefruit, Red Grapes, Strawberries, Apples, Pure Water, Lemons, Wheatgrass Nutrients: Coensymbe, Q10, Vitamins A, B2, C, E, Shark Cartilage, Selenium, Boron, Magnesium, Calcium Herbs: Ginger, Echinacea, Garlic, Ginseng, Red Clover, Rosemary, and Green Tea, to name a few.
We know why the correct gas and oils are needed for our vehicles. Our body is the only vehicle we will have to get around this lifetime; does it not make sense to dine on what it needs?

When changing your diet it is always a good idea to consult with your doctor or nutritionist. With that in mind, fasting occasionally, perhaps every six months is also a very good start to the road of recovery and excellent health. The Miracle of Fasting by Paul Bragg states “the greatest discovery by modern man is the power to rejuvenate himself physically, mentally, and spiritually with Rational Fasting.”
Every several months I try to fast with fresh lemons, water, and peeled apples or pure apple juice. I usually eat four to six apples and drink eight glasses of water with lemon for three days. Then I start to combine the other foods, having fruit then vegetables. Several days later I slowly add the proteins and grains.
Another possibility for some is a raw food diet. This is one approach, it has been said, that can heal some from being ill, where medicine failed. I suggest that one become familiar with this possibility as well.
Originated in India over 5000 years ago, ayurveda uses specific foods for the individual body type. These approaches are used to regain a “balance between the body, mind, and the environment.” Studies have shown reductions in blood pressure and cholesterol, using Ayurvedic methods.
