When my eldest daughter was born it took a while for the extra pounds to start coming off me. She is already three months old before I began to notice that I was losing the extra weight I put on during my pregnant state. I didn’t make any drastic changes to my diet, because I did breastfeed. I lost my additional thirty pounds of weight by the time she was already five months old.
My procedure was just simple and it just included only a diet adjustment, not any rough activity addition. Ideally, it is best that I would accompany my diet with an exercise, but my daughter was born in early February and that time my opportunity for doing exercises were very limited. But they say that each and every breastfeeding session is already equivalent to running almost a mile.
Every morning I ate oatmeal for breakfast. It started out with just eating oatmeal, but then I really don’t like much of the texture of it and so I take an alternative of cereals and oatmeal every other day. And, I put brown sugar on with my oatmeal, but I did not put any sugar or any sweetener to my cereals. I did not take any snack in the morning, and I drank much so water, that is about ¾ gallon a day.
Only rice became my power and staple food that I really believe have helped me get that much weight off. Every day during lunch I ate rice mixed with vegetables. I will cook rice for about 10 minutes, drain the water and add more water the next, boil it for another twenty minutes and then drain it again and add more water the third time and boil it once again. You may be wondering why I continuously change the water in the rice. It’s mainly because I wanted to get rid of all the bitterness in the rice. I also added some chicken flavorings or cubes to the water with the last water change so there is a bit of season to it and I wouldn’t be tempted to even add some salt or butter to it. When my tastes got bland with the plain rice I began adding vegetables. I would add sliced onion, carrots, celery, broccoli, peas, etc. to the water with the rice and at the same time as I added the bouillon cubes and let it sit to cook together. It tasted so good and was perfectly healthy.
In the afternoons I really crave for sweets. I did not deny myself of it. After the kids went on for their afternoon nap, I take my special “treat”. And then for dinner I ate whatever it is that I made for my family. We are the typical family who love carbohydrates, red meat, fish etc. I did not make changes any of this.
Now, how much weight did I shred? I weighed 175 pounds after my eldest daughter was born and when she was two months old I weighed around 135 pounds. It’s over a year now and, my diet still hasn’t changed and the weight is still off. This is how I lost mg 40 excess pounds in just six weeks.
