Effective and Fast Weight Loss
There are so many diet programs out there which claims that you can lose weight rapidly in just an unbelievably insane short period of time. From the tone of my writing you might say I’m skeptical about it. It’s not that they don’t work but when someone tells you that you could lose weight in 2 weeks then that’s too unrealistic. Most rapid weight loss programs lose only water weight. These programs promote low-carb diet which slowly retains glycogen and would make you dehydrated.
I have been studying weight loss and have read different materials on how to lose weight. I wasn’t overweight like most people who are desperate to know more about it but I was trying to be as fit as I could. It’s one of my biggest passions.
I don’t recommend the lazy methods of losing weight. Most of these aren’t as affective as their claims or even realistic. You might lose weight effectively in 2 weeks but the chances are you will get terrible side effects or you won’t survive. The best way to lose weight is to follow the same traditional ways: Eat well and be active.
To eat well, you need to know your daily calorie intake and make a diet plan out of it. Don’t just make the diet plan but follow it no matter what happens. Watch what you eat and control your cravings. Fill your stomach before you’ll feel hungry so you won’t be overwhelmed to eat too much.
To be active, you need to reduce your time spent on sitting. Stand up and turn off the television, focus on your ultimate weight loss goal and start exercising. Invite your friends on a basketball or badminton match. Do this regularly.
Here are some useful tips that most dietitians recommend that you should do. Of course most of us would like to “lose weight without efforts” but this is something not even close to realistic. Oftentimes, these programs don’t work. Follow these 5 simple steps to lose weight effectively. They are not “secrets” that are to be discovered but rather everyday methods that are often overlooked.
- Don’t shop when your hungry. Make sure you eat your meal before leaving home for your regular weekend grocery. You will likely be controlled by your hunger when you shop hungry. You won’t be thinking right and won’t be picking your food wisely. Make sure that you’re in the right state of mind while shopping so you’ll be able to obey your shopping list instead of letting the starving feeling drive you.
- When shopping, take your time to be vigilant on what you buy. This includes analyzing the package details of the food that you are about to purchase to ensure that the calorie level follows your daily caloric intake. Most dieters don’t take this essential advice and purchase food depending on craving and appetite. Remember that your diet is effective only if you know how to discipline yourself and control your cravings. You don’t want to have excess calories and gain pounds, do you?
- Exercise Daily. Body mass or excess weight comes when fat is collected in the body. Fat in itself is not bad due to the fact that it cushions the body and contributes to healthy body temperature. However excess fat builds up when greater fat builds up than the system can burn during metabolism. It therefore goes devoid of saying that to speed up the burning of excess fat, one has to boost their level of exercise in order to burn more fat.
- Know your daily Calorie Intake. Once you know how many Calories you need to take daily, you can make your own meal plan out of it and obey your plan religiously. With only less Calories than your body usually needs, you body will be forced to use excess Calories for energy.
- Replace your usual junk food with fruits and vegetables. Sometimes you can never say when you’ll be hungry, even if you had your full meal especially in your first few days of diet when your body is not used to hunger. Replace your usual junk food with healthier alternatives for your midday, mid-afternoon and midnight snacks.
- Make a weight loss resolution. You can make your own make loss resolution not just per year but it can also be per month. You can write a plan to lose a pound per month or more. Remember to set realistic goals. Don’t write goals that are too idealistic like losing a pound per day or a lot per week. Don’t pressure yourself too much to reach these goals. One of the reasons people do not reach their resolutions is because of time. As we all know, today’s society needs a lot from its people. People are performing two or three jobs just to make ends meet, go to school and in most of the time also have households to take care of. They too tired to exercise or even think of making a healthy well-balanced meal. For many, they often buying from drive-thrus are their only option to eat. Fast food is known to be addictive and also has an extremely high level of cholesterol.
